The aim of the Group is to explore the world of beer in all its variety and complexity, to learn how diverse styles and tastes are developed, and to foster the social atmosphere in which beer is best consumed. Activities may include: pub visits; tutored tastings; brewery visits; micropub evenings; meet the brewer sessions; matching beer and food; bring a bottle sessions; low/non-alcohol beer; member-led discussions, e.g. the business of beer; beer in art and literature; beer and health.
Meetings are planned to take place monthly on the fourth Thursday at various hostelries, breweries, beer gardens in and around Maidenhead.
