Our talk this month will be given by David MacLeod on ‘The Wonderful World of Whisky’
David is a Scot who worked for BOAC and later became a consultant. He has lived in Maidenhead since 1980. Apart from whisky, his interests include public speaking, genealogy, and the Clan MacLeod. He is a trustee of a local charity.
In this light-hearted and informative talk, David will provide insights into the world of whisky – what it’s made of, how it’s made, where it’s made and how to buy it by the cask … that’s if you like it as much as David does!
David doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be a whisky lover by the end of the talk, but you will have an appreciation of what goes into this distinctive spirit.
