An elementary introduction to Einstein’s contributions to modern physics. Just over 100 years since his famous theory of General Relativity was published, we will look at the entire range of work of this iconic scientist. No previous knowledge of maths or science is required in order to enjoy the day. There will be time for questions at the end of each section.
The day is open to all members of U3As in the Thames Valley Network (members of U3As not in the TVN are welcome at an extra cost of £2 per person). One application form per person please. These are available on the TVN website. www.u3atvnetwork.org.uk The cost for the day includes tea / coffee and lunch.
